Good morning! Soaking up all of this summer weather here in Portland. I can’t get enough of it and will be so sad when it ends. Friday was spent enjoying a delicious dinner out at the East Ender followed by drinks outdoors and listening to the Weezer concert for free with some friends. Saturday started out with teaching a class at Quest followed by my favorite Saturday morning tradition: iced coffee and a donut from the holy donut and then shopping at the farmers market. Whenever I tell people that is what I like to do on Saturday mornings they always seem surprised that it happens every Saturday. Well, yes it does!! Today will be a kayak/canoe trip to Higgins beach! Enjoy the rest of your weekend and enjoy some new tunes!
Good morning! Here are some new tunes coming your way ( a couple days late)! This weekend was a fun and busy one. Angus’ dad and his girlfriend came down for the Barenaked Ladies Concert on Friday and it was a blast. Now, if a song from the Barenaked Ladies popped up on my spotify radio I would probably just hit “next”. I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed the concert. They were very entertaining and fantastic to hear live. Saturday was teaching class, and then meeting up with our guests down in the Old Port for some snacks and shopping.
Sunday was a lazy, rainy day and Angus and I enjoyed brunch at the Treehouse Cafe right here in our neighborhood. I can’t believe we had not been there before and I already can’t wait to go back! (The crab omelet was fabulous!) In the afternoon we did a quick kettle bell workout at the Y and then headed out for my friend Sarah’s surprise birthday party!
It’s been a while since I’ve posted a Spin Saturday playlist! I had a lot of commitments this spring that fell on Saturdays that I taught so I’ve overlooked posting a playlist since I haven’t been teaching as many Saturdays as I normally do. Here are some new tunes that I’ve been playing! I’m absolutely loving that Acapella cover of “chandelier” that you have probably come across on Facebook this past week.
Good morning! It’s another cycle class this morning at Quest and I have an awesome playlist and ride ready. Too bad my legs aren’t ready. After falling off a box jump during one of my workouts earlier this week and a KILLER stair workout with my friend Sarah yesterday (will post soon!) my legs are toast. At least the music will be great! Here’s what we’re riding to this week.
I hope everyone is having a great weekend so far! Yesterday started out with an awesome spin class at Quest Cycle followed by some errands, then some shopping and walking in the Old Port before a dinner out at the Corner Room. Oh yeah, and we bought a new dryer. HOW EXCITING. Sort of. If this one doesn’t shrink my clothes I will be very happy but it’s a very boring thing to spend 500 bucks on. I think I got my money’s worth out of our last dryer that I bought for 50 bucks at a yard sale and we’ve used for almost three years now…
Okay, here’s the playlist! Some new songs and a few throwbacks 🙂
Happy weekend! I’m gearing up to teach a full class at Quest this morning and thought I would share my playlist with everyone first. Even though there are still many feet of snow left on the ground the temperatures are finally getting a tad warmer and this weekend is Daylight Saving Time! Which means MORE LIGHT AT NIGHT! Usually this is the time of year I start riding my road bike again but it looks like that won’t be happening this year. Good thing those 6 spin classes I teach every week keep me pretty busy. 😉 Anyway, here are some new tunes. I hope you all have a fabulous weekend and get out and enjoy some sunshine!
I know I’m a day late posting this and today is actually Sunday and not Saturday but yesterday my computer spent the better part of the day deciding to not turn on. SO awesome new spin tunes coming at you on Sunday instead. This weekend has been a totally bust with the weather. Both days were supposed to be warm and mostly sunny but instead it’s been cold and mostly rainy. Yesterday I taught Saturday morning spin and then did some food shopping and then fall clothes shopping. I managed to get one shirt so I’ll call it a success. I also found some mugs on sale at pottery barn and decided to do some crafts with them. Anyway, here’s some new music for you! I’m on a huge Demi Lovato kick right now 🙂
Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend. We got a taste of spring here in Portland! Here’s the playlist that I used for spin class last Saturday. Some high energy tunes to get you week started right. 🙂
Happy Weekend! Every other Saturday I start my day by teaching cycle at Quest Cycle. I love teaching Saturdays! The classes are always full and everyone’s happy that it’s the weekend. Now that I have finally figured out how to add my Spotify playlists to my blog posts, I plan on posting a weekly playlist. I’m always looking for new music so hopefully some people will find this useful. Here is my playlist I just made for class this morning. Lots of intervals and some rolling hills!
